DUNES OF NOWHERE :: Somewhere Along California & the Arizona Borders

By Andy Dubois

Somewhere on the desert highway along California and Arizona rests these unexpected sand dunes. For the adventurous at heart, you might find yourself screaming in the car, wondering how on earth you marvellously ended up here.

The 40 miles of breathtaking dunes rising to heights over 300 feet, making the road true eye-candy.

Take the time to stop at one of the parking zones, and soak up the energy of the imperial dunes. You might feel inspired to lead a short meditation, or rent an off-highway vehicle to jump the golden hills.

WE RECOMMEND :: If you think you saw a skeleton bull head on a dune, we recommend not stopping on the side of the highway. The truth is, it’s probably a piece of plastic.
