PHOENIX HOTEL :: a rockstar mecca in SF

By Andy Dubois

If you like rock n’roll, or just the story that comes with the lifestyle, you’ll find your paradise at Phoenix Hotel- originally designed in 1956 as Caravan Motor Lodge.

Located in San Francisco, the mid-century motor inn is well-known for their musician guests: think David Bowie, Kurt Cobain, Neil Young & The Killers.

Half way between the glam’ that comes with the fame, and the dark side of this very particular industry, the hotel finds itself as a meeting point. Records & books can be found anywhere at their restaurant lounge as guests are promised to be entertain.

For the late-party people, the pool is a great place to continue the party. Clothes are half-required.

We recommend :: Dig in the records collection. It’s magnificent !

Address : 601 Eddy St, San Francisco
