Maison Première: Absinthe & oysters

By Andy Dubois

Maison Premiere has a late 19th century French atmosphere that will make you want to fall in love (or fall in the Absinthe). Whether you go home alone or with La Fée Verte, you won’t be disappointed by the seafood platters, the craft cocktails and an amazing selection of delicious oysters.

Try :: The Absinthe! The preparation of this opalescent brew is interesting. Try to catch the bartender slow-dripping water over a sugar cube perched on a slotted spoon. Pair your absinthe with some Kusshi oysters from BC!

We recommend :: Go during Happy Hour and make sure you show up early to avoid the wait. Sit at the bar in front of the oyster shuckers or the beautiful backyard garden.

Address:: 298 Bedford Ave., Brooklyn, NY (Williamsburg)
